Dr. Qu'Nesha Sawyer
Dr. Qu’Nesha Sawyer, PhD, LCMHC, LCAS, NCC
Dr. Qu’Nesha Sawyer (she/her/hers), grew up in Eastern North Carolina and currently resides in Bay Area California. Qu’Nesha is a graduate from East Carolina University with a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling & Administration. She also obtained her M.S. in Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling (2014) from East Carolina University and B.A. in Psychology (2012) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Qu’Nesha is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Dr. Sawyer began counseling in 2014 under the supervision of Dr. Sherra’ Watkins as a Behavioral Health Specialist for a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the treatment of persons living with different infections in Eastern North Carolina. She is an experienced individual, couple, and family therapist. She specializes in perinatal mental health concerns, depression and anxiety, chronic diseases and disability, relationship or marriage counseling, substance abuse counseling, and career or vocational counseling.
